Update from Monday 28th July

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008

Hi,

Here is an update on Moshe. Baruch Hashem he is good. He had a temperature on Friday and was almost kept in hospital for Shabbos. The doctor gave him antibiotics to take home.

On Monday he had bloods, a chemo injection and radiotherapy. His haemoglobin is a bit low so he is having a blood transfusion now. Then off to Sandton Oncology for some quick radiotherapy and then home.

He is doing well. If he can get up in time we will PG go in to school on Wednesday and then there will be more radiotherapy. This is daily for the next six weeks and then back on a drip for chemotherapy in the hospital…..and so the road goes.

He has got a great spirit. He almost met the Manchester United team last week. Any keen soccer card collectors should call Moshe to swap with him.

Also you are welcome to check his website @ www.moshealtschuler.com He loves to read the messages on his site. Go in and have fun.

Take care

Love Jackie

Moshe’s Day Back At School

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

Good morning all. Moshe had a fun day at school yesterday and all his friends were very excited to see him.

One of the children had a cold so Moshe took doctors’ masks with him and at one stage in the day the whole class put the masks on in solidarity with Moshe. His class is really a great and thoughtful bunch.

As scheduled he has blood tests today and a CT SCAN next week.

Please leave comments for Moshe and email me should you want to be part of the mitzvah programs highlighted on the top right hand side of the page.

Regards,

Ezra

Back to School Tomorrow!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

We are thrilled that Moshe will be attending school tomorrow for the first time in a month.

His blood counts were very good today which means his immune system is working well at the moment allowing him to be with other kids. He is very excited. :-)

He is having a scheduled short 2-week break from chemo and will hopefully be able to go to school for 2 weeks before his next strong chemo.

Moshe thank G-d remains in high spirits. Be’ezrat Hashem he will go from strength to strength.

Love,
The Altschulers
